We are looking for multi-skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of AWS Practice Lead - Cloud Engineer.


The Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our team and ensuring the efficient running of our company. As an AWS Practice Lead, you will be responsible for leading our AWS-focused projects and initiatives. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored AWS solutions. You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to a team of AWS specialists. Additionally, you will stay updated with the latest AWS trends, practices, and services to continuously improve our offerings.


The salary ranges from 3,000 USD to 7,000 USD per month, depending on the candidate’s experience and seniority.

Candidates from other Latin American countries may be considered. Candidates in a time zone outside of the western hemisphere will NOT be considered. The role is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the AWS practice, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS architectures and solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and frameworks for AWS deployments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the AWS team, ensuring high-quality delivery of services.
  • Stay current with AWS advancements and integrate new technologies and services into our offerings.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including client presentations, proposals, and solution designs.
  • Oversee the migration and optimization of client environments to AWS.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of AWS engineers and architects.


Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HAVE A FLUENT PROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION IN ENGLISH
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, best practices, and security measures
  • Experience leading and managing AWS-focused projects and teams
  • Proven track record of delivering successful AWS solutions that meet business objectives
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desired
  • Prior experience in a consulting or agency environment is a plus
