Responsibilities

The Full-Stack Engineer Developer will support United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) in the maintenance and DevSecOps of the software development environment.

Responsible for the delivery of the core features as directed by the Solution Architect.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of an integrated project team delivering scalable and secure systems. Your work will be user-centered and agile. As a member of a project delivery team, you will collaborate with project and product managers, user experience designers, and business analysts. Your efforts will directly serve and assist end-users. Your work will be produced in the context of the team’s DevSecOps practices, including but not limited to continuous development, deployment, integration, and monitoring. Our solutions need to be “cloud-first”, scalable, and deployed in containers.
  • Full-Stack Engineers shall be able to perform automation and engineering tasks, AI/ML implementation, data, infrastructure/operations, and security engineer tasks in DOD cloud environments.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using DevSecOps and Azure cloud environments.
  • Shall have experience with full stack engineering (defined as proficient in database development/integration as well as server and client application development/integration), including at least three (3) years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in Azure.
  • Shall have at least three (3) years of specific software engineering experience related to front-end and back-end applications and/or data services.
  • Shall possess experience in large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in Azure.
  • Shall possess experience with automation and engineering tasks, implementation, data, infrastructure/operations, and security engineer tasks in DOD cloud environments.
  • Experience with multiple operating systems, including LINUX, UNIX, and Windows-based operating systems.
  • Experience with Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with deploying containerized microservices in a Kubernetes infrastructure, with exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Gitlab source control and versioning
    • Heimdall to visualize security status
    • Nexus to store and cache artifacts, software dependencies, and binaries
    • SonarQube to identify vulnerabilities in apps
    • Twistlock to identify exploitable vulnerabilities in source code
    • Mattermost chat and collaboration
    • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

    Education & Certifications:

    • BA or BS degree preferred.

    Security Clearance:

    • An active TS/SCI clearance is REQUIRED.
