Senior Product Manager

We are looking for you, a Product Manager looking for an impactful and exciting journey in a startup environment.

This position is however primarily based in Finland and we can only consider candidates who already live in the country or with short-term relocation plans.

About You

• You are an experienced Product Manager or have worked in similar roles. We expect that you have worked in a Product team for at least 2-3 years.
• You are well-articulated and can create order from chaos. You see the big picture and are able to communicate your ideas to all kinds of stakeholders.
• You are organised and know where best to invest your and your team members' precious time.
• You understand the importance of both a long-term vision and quick wins: you are able to communicate priorities at any point in time.
  
  

BONUS

• You have experience in UX research and/or data analysis. Knowledge of tools like Hotjar, Maze, Jimo, Segment etc is a plus
• You speak fluent Finnish, the mother tongue of the majority of our stakeholders.
• You have experience in working in a fast-growing startup

What You Will Work On

Vapaus is on a journey to provide the best green mobility services for corporations. Because this sector is ever-evolving, we need you to help us understand the needs of our organisation, now and in the coming years.

As Product Manager, you’ll be working in our Product team in collaboration with all parts of the organisation to improve our service. Our team currently already has a Product Manager, which is why we're looking for a Senior profile who can bring us something extra.

During the first few months, the role will be primarily focused on getting to know the product and future plans. We expect you to rapidly take ownership of your first development project to learn the ways of our team and find your place.

As our team grows, roles and responsibilities in the team will evolve and we'll eventually expect you to lead your own area independently.

We’re looking for a driven and flexible person who can put themselves in the shoes of a cyclist for breakfast, an HR manager for lunch and a bike manufacturer for dinner.

What we expect from you:

• Support our Product Development team with market knowledge, customer insights, data and experience (aka "gut feeling") to make the best decisions at all times
• Together with our designer and developers, build beautiful solutions to our user's problems
• Own your backlog and know when an idea is ready to be taken forward
• Be proactive and organise research plans, wireframe testing and other means of solution design with the team to get answers fast

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS

We take recruiting seriously at Vapaus and use anonymous recruiting and evaluate candidates based on skills. For this role you can expect a salary range of 3.800-5.000€/month based on the relevance of your application for the role and your experience.
