How You Will Contribute

You will:

  • Develop the overall direction policies, procedures and approach for Performance and Rewards ensuring close alignment with business strategy and market competitiveness through tracking market practices and trends and subsequently strategically managing compensation
  • Own the design and development of globally consistent plans, frameworks and toolkits, providing thought leadership to ensure they are in service of the business strategy and future-focused including policy and program design for pensions and recognition, tracking legislation and compliance changes that may affect compensation plans
  • Collaborate with other CoE’s to define priorities and effort, providing direction and guidance where required and to ensure close alignment within our own CoE
  • Be a strong partner to the HR Leadership Team on (HR) business priorities
  • Pre-empt future HR and People considerations through use of data and analytics, leveraging insights to proactively seek and implement solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategy
  • Own the management of relevant HR vendors and relationships and partners with CoE Specialists to develop strategic partnerships that are in service of business strategy
  • `Partner with My Rewards Lead and People Services Operations Lead to translate the BU specific rewards policies for execution within People Services and to ensure alignment to global ways of working and the effective implementation of compensation programs across the globe

More About This Role

  • The Rewards Lead will design and develop competitive total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits (incl. the IN-Wellness Program with 3 pillars (Physical Financial Emotional)), retirement, engagement, and performance management to support the overarching talent strategy.
  • Partner with Leadership to ensure that our Rewards & Performance Programs support the organization’s strategic objectives and that they are best-in-class, competitive, cost effective and compliant to global rewards philosophy and guidelines.
  • Bring in the “outside-in” perspective and regularly assess our Rewards structure as per changing local incl. legislative changes and industry trends and ensure competitiveness and relevance of our Rewards philosophy.
  • Partner with TA to provide guidance / offer consultation on SB H+ offers and approves package exceptions for all levels according to RACI.
  • Conduct Rewards Capability enablement sessions to different target groups (eg. HR and People Manager) to understand MDLZ Rewards principles and application.
  • Works with My Rewards representatives (C&B Shared Services teams) and People Experience Team to translate the BU specific rewards policies for execution within People Services. Guides the interpretation in partnership with the People Service team:
    • Analyze and evaluate internal data about the organization's current employee population and future HR needs along with external market data to develop salary budgets and forecasts.
    • Ensure competitiveness by reviewing relevant market data and designing winning total rewards packages.
    • Evaluate and introduce developments based on Rewards market trends and Local legislation and make implementations through HR Solutions/Payroll/WFA teams to ensure a seamless execution of rewards program changes.
    • Provide technical analysis and expertise on rewards programs e.g.: Position Evaluations, Incentive Programs (Annual, Sales, Manufacturing), Equity Program, Benefit Program, etc

Knowledge & Skills

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

To succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated working experience in Rewards
  • Multi-Function HR experience
  • Ability to manage and consult multiple diverse stakeholders
  • 10 years + general HR experience in large multinational companies preferred
  • MBA HR and advantage
  • Has a strategic mindset with sound business understanding.
  • FMCG experience advantageous.
  • Ability to manage projects without significant support.
  • Ability to build strategic and collaborative working relationships across the business.
  • Strong level of computer competency, i.e., PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Be willing to face a new challenge every-day.
