We seek a Lead Data/Reporting Analyst colleague to join our world-class beverage client's largest Digital Transformation project in their history.
- Employment - Temporary work agency contract - Duration: at least 12 months (with high potential to be extended or converted to permanent)
- Fully remote role but occasional business travelling to e.g. Amsterdam, London, and Miami is required. Also, going to the Budapest office is optional if preferred by the colleague.
Description:
Lead the data agenda for successfully implementing and deploying the RGM (revenue growth management) transformation. Work with in-market SMEs, technical owners, product managers & data owners to deliver fit-for-purpose RGM data. Assess/gap analyze required data, develop necessary procurement/improvement plans, ensure project compliance with data policies, assign issue resolution processes and educate users on responsibilities while ensuring guaranteed quality in various systems and teams.
- Plan all RGM program data activities within timelines and following PACE methodology.
- Develop/implement data plan in line with governance/quality policies/processes; address/improve trust in data; follow delivery framework to enable sustainable foundations for RGM.
- Perform data assessment/gap analysis to requirements of RGM needs; procure necessary data sources/standardize quality at source; identify dependencies/work with team/collate cost and effort/budget.
- Identify data owners/accountabilities and embed regarding RGM data delivery; develop agreed-upon roles/accountabilities for ongoing run.
- Document processes/solutions/knowledge sharing material; manage metadata documentation of KPIs/data assets/products within Alation; communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand/implement requirements; collaborate with executives/department heads/stakeholders aligning initiatives w/ VS objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Data Lead should have a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive the RGM data initiative effectively.
Essential Skills for this position
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science)
- Experience in a leadership role within data analytics or related field
- Proficiency in data management, analytics tools, and a good grounding in programming (e.g., SQL, Python)
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles and best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Excellent communication, presentation, & interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in project delivery/leadership – preferably agile
Preferred Skills
- Certification in data management or analytics (e.g., CDMP, DASCA)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations related to data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
