👉Project Description:
One of the world's largest multichannel video programming distributor is searching for a Software Developer. The project focuses on a video streaming platform development. You'll be developing and maintaining a mixture of production-ready components for various digital enterprise systems, including Metadata and Content Management systems. Our team spans across multiple time zones (majorly, USA & Poland) and covers the entire product life cycle, including architecture, design, coding, DevOps, testing, and the rest of the software development activities required to ensure uninterrupted content streaming service to millions of customers worldwide. We work using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a process framework and use software development best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, etc.
👉Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance headend features related to Set-Top-Box advertising and big data services through the direction of the Technical Product Owner assigned to this team.
- Integrate with Ad partners and vendors, leverage viewership data to serve most relevant ad to our customers.
- Develop transition services to enable the migration of legacy services to the next generation metadata platform.
- Collaborate with other software engineer teams, product managers, and architects in a cross functional environment to innovate and improve the Beam product line.
- Provide operational support including triaging and resolving production issues.
👉Mandatory Skills Description:
- Experienced in Java, Hadoop development.
- Experienced with CICD development processes / pipelines.
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration focus.
- Experience with implementing unit and functional tests to verify the developed components.
👉Nice-to-Have Skills:
- AWS ecosystem.
- Golang, Scala, Spark, Python.
