We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Engagement Lead to join our established and dynamic Sexual Health operations team, working across the Integrated York and North Yorkshire Sexual Health and HIV services.
The role of the Sexual Health Engagement Lead is to provide expert advice, to ensure appropriate steps are taken to promote inclusive, wide-ranging stakeholder and service user engagement whilst developing robust communications channels.
This exciting opportunity will explore how we better engage and support our service users, with a firm focus on our most at risk populations (MARP’S) and developing strong working relationships with our key stakeholders.
The primary focus of this role is to lead on key stakeholder and service user engagement for the Integrated Sexual Health service, on behalf of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Our Successful Candidate Will
- Lead engagement strategies, including the set up and management of service user (SU)/stakeholder & staff focus groups, networking events and survey/questionnaires whilst taking responsibility for website, intranet and social media activity.
- Have design, digital engagement experience and contribute to the production of printed publicity such as newsletters, leaflets, and posters.
- Contribute towards the marketing and branding of sexual health across all sites.
Previous experience in communications and engagement within the NHS would be an advantage but equally important is the ability to work proactively and flexibility to adapt to ever changing environments.
