Founded in 2017, Biologi is an Australian based, made and owned skincare company. We are entirely accountable for the production process and lifecycle of our products - from plant to bottle to pore. Biologi is not a juice, powder, acid, or synthetic equivalent – simply the concentrated life force direct from the plant cells, to your skin.
This is a remote based, full time role.
You will work within the Marketing team and report directly to the General Manager. You will be responsible work through the entire process of planning and executing social media marketing strategies across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest & LinkedIn – as well as producing best in class content. You will work closely with all members of the Marketing team, in particular our Ecommerce Manager.
We are looking for your brilliance, innovation and creative thinking. While we have the following functional duties and responsibilities, we expect you to increase customer loyalty to Biologi and attract new customers to the range by overseeing and actioning all Social Media activity.
Responsibilities:
- Produce, implement, and manage our social media strategy including content direction of our socials
- Assist our General Manager and Ecommerce Manager to plan and execute seasonal campaigns across all social media platforms
- Monitor the performance & engagement of social media platforms & provide regular reporting & recommendations based on performance
- Work closely with our paid digital agency, to produce effective digital campaigns
- Maintain on-brand messaging and frequent engagement across all Biologi social media platforms
- Work within the marketing team to brief web content ie: blog posts for amplification across social channels
- Write engaging, on brand captions and schedule posts
- Pitch and develop content for Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok & Facebook
- Manage the social media section in the Go to Market calendar
- Identify and build key partnerships and relationships in the social media space
- Identify areas of opportunity across all channels
- Daily proactive consumer community management
- Act upon agile reactive opportunities
You will ideally be someone who has a passion for the skin care industry and who has worked in health & wellness, fashion, or with beauty or skincare products.
Experience/Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- A passion for social & digital marketing
- Ability to feature yourself in content, and create content across platforms
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other social media best practices
- Great understanding of social media KPIs and measuring success
- Experience in ecommerce and Shopify with an understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Creative mindset, and experience with design software, ie. Canva, Photoshop etc.
- Ability to work in accordance with commercial strategies to increase sales, reach, customer satisfaction and brand reputation
- Excellent multitasking skills, and ability to deliver on deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
