Job Overview And Responsibility
We are building up our Technical teams in new regions and looking for a Technical Manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to build up and handle Frontend Game Development Department.
- Own the technical development of our products from conception to delivery, including game play, user interface, animation, etc.
- Developing games on multiple platforms (Web, Mobile, PWA) using Cocos Creator.
- Keeping up to date on relevant core technologies and best practices, so as to make suggestions to the team on new game mechanics or APIs available.
- Research new technology and apply to the product.
Must Have Skills And Experience
- 5+ years as Technical Manager/Lead for Frontend team of 10+ developers.
- 5+ experience with Cocos Creator or Cocos2d-x (version 3 and above), C++ or Javascript or Typescript.
- Previous experience working with mobile online casino industry.
- Experience with scripting languages like Javascript or Typescript.
- Experience building data-driven applications (XML, JSON, REST APIs).
- Deep understanding of different networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, REST).
- Familiarity of working with 3rd party tools for generating SpriteSheets, Polygon shapes for physics and Particle Effects.
Prefer to Have
- Experience in building tech teams from the very start.
- Experience with client/server security methodologies.
- Experience with using SDKBOX (or having integrated 3rd party SDKs for Analytics / In-App Purchase / Game Centre/ Social Sharing).
- Experience with game architecture, algorithms and development techniques.
- Be a good team player.
