Projects focus on connected products within consumer electronics and IoT (Internet of Things) devices. They pride themselves on their people, expertise, and state-of-the-art labs, which allows them to create some of the most demanding products on the market.


Job Overview

As a Senior Android Framework Developer, you'll help transform customer ideas into tangible products, working at the cutting edge of technology. Your role will involve working with Android-based platforms, which have become a popular choice for consumer products due to their development efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software for Android-based systems, including analysis, design, programming, integration, unit testing, and debugging in the application and framework layers.
  • Interface with customers on an engineering level.
  • Contribute to pre-studies and propose technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with specialists in hardware, audio, and optics.
  • Learn new product domains to design optimal solutions.


Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Android full-stack AOSP development.
  • Several years of experience with Android system-level development, including custom ROMs, kernels, and device drivers.
  • Multiple years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin for Android development, and proficiency in Android SDKs and NDKs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Android framework development and internals.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Android hardware architecture, including interfacing with hardware components and debugging hardware-related issues.
  • Demonstrated experience with performance optimization, power management, and memory management in the Android system.
  • Familiarity with Android security concepts and secure coding practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior Android engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
