The Tech Audit Manager role involves assisting the PTX Risk & Compliance team in coordinating regulatory projects (Tech Audit Management) and supporting Tech functions in understanding and implementing IT regulatory requirements. This is especially important when dealing with regulatory changes, internal audits, or external audits. The ideal candidate would be an engineer looking to move into a regulatory role and who wants to upskill in relevant European IT frameworks and legislation.
In This Role, You Will
Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of regulatory Tech projects
Understanding and knowledge of banking regulations with respect to IT in the German market as well as our other international markets
Acting as a liaison between technical teams, management, and other stakeholders
Maintaining comprehensive documentation of ongoing audits, requests, and projects
Coordinating audit, risk, and regulatory remediation projects across the organisation (Tech)
Ensuring proper documentation and escalation of regulatory events (e.g., incidents, audits, investigations) to relevant stakeholders
Managing remediation projects where applicable
Acting as the point of contact for IT Internal/External Audits in order to understand the requests and “translate” the audit requirements to the teams in Tech.
Acting as a communication bridge between the teams and the auditors so that team can provide the right information as evidence, understanding the scope of audits and share it with the internal process owners/risk owners
Managing interactions with the auditors and the required internal process owners/risk owners
Supporting the Tech Teams in gathering the required evidences, as per the scope of the audit
Managing expectations of delivery timelines, delays and blockers/escalations during the audit
Creating and maintaining sources of truth for regulatory projects, reviewing and challenging information received from product & tech owners to ensure completeness and accuracy

What You Need To Be Successful
3+ years of professional experience working on IT Compliance
Understanding of IT, as well as IT Governance frameworks, methodologies and related processes
Sound understanding and interest of emerging regulations on blockchain, crypto, AI, Machine Learning
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across multiple business units including autonomy, and a ‘get things done’ approach
Experience with Atlassian tools, in particular JIRA and Confluence, is a plus
Fluent in English, German highly advantageous
Experience with audits, government regulators, financial institutions or consulting firms is a plus
