๐Ÿ“Œ The Role: People Operations Manager (English speaking required)

We are looking for an experienced, passionate People Operations Manager to take on an important role on our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with advanced experience in people operations to help us enhance, launch, and manage a wide range of projects that will help us effectively scale and provide a great experience to our employees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced tech environment, and enjoys working in a multicultural, friendly and inclusive environment.

๐Ÿ“Œ What You'll Be Doing

  • Administer key HR processes such as employee pre-hire processes, employment contracts, onboarding and new hire orientation, work authorization documentation, freelancer and intern contracts, employee changes, terminations and promotions;
  • Be responsible for the French and the International (US, UK, Canada, Mexico) payroll processes and manage employee benefits;
  • Respond to general HR inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, employee data, employment verifications and systems;
  • Establish procedures for hiring foreign employees (such as obtaining work and residence permits);
  • Create and maintain electronic employee files and process documentation on Notion;
  • Own HR data and metrics across systems (HR, Employee Surveys, Performance, Compensation) that are used for decision-making around people programs;
  • Collaborate closely with the People team in key strategic projects such as Annual Performance review, Employee Experience projects, Employee Engagement Survey, and more.


๐Ÿ“Œ Skills And Qualifications

  • 4 + years of experience in an HR Operations role or other HR relevant experience in a startup environment;
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and experience owning key HR processes including onboarding, performance reviews, offboarding, leave management, trainings...;
  • Ideally has experience implementing an HRIS or other HR system (eg performance or payroll management system);
  • Experience partnering and supporting global payroll and benefits functions;
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality;
  • Strong communicator and cross-functional partner, able to build collaborative relationships across the organization;
  • Knowledge of employment legislation in France and knowledge of other countries would be beneficial;
  • Fluent in English and French, other languages are a plus.
