Our client is one of Ireland's most exciting tech companies that have developed an AI-powered operating system to help organisations scale by offering business intelligence, inventory management, and workforce management tools.

Job: Product Engineer

Our client's teams are cross-functional with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for their product. As a Product Engineer, you are more than a software developer - you will engineer the product.

You will do this by applying your deep understanding of technology and the domain to plan, design, build, test, ship, support, and operate our client's Inventory Management product across the entire stack to solve real problems for customers every day.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• Rapidly iterate on the product to meet the needs of new and soon-to-be customers – this is a relatively young product
• Collaborate closely with designers, customer success and other engineers to enhance the product and the distributed system providing a close feedback loop with leadership and others
• Plan, build, and ship new, high-impact features working directly with customers to help them become more profitable
• Work collaboratively to develop a data model that’s able to evolve with the complex nature (data is at the heart of this product)
• Improve the architecture and design of our clients' system. As they rapidly scale, it’s critical to continuously reinvent parts of the application in better ways.

What are we looking for in applicants?

• At least 4 years of experience coming from a product environment, desirably at a start-up / scale-up environment
• Having business impact energises you more than which programming language you use
• Team player – you can work & communicate effectively with other engineers and people with different functions & backgrounds.
• You’re adaptable – this is a start-up, and things can feel scrappy at times but this is something you can cope with.
• TypeScript, React, Python, and competent across AWS (we can upskill if needed in areas)
