Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Specialist to join our team remotely from Portugal, working on an exciting, large-scale project for a prestigious UK-based client. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end testing from development to post-production.
Develop and deliver automated testing scripts that align with the Bank's business and technical strategies, collaborating closely with technical and business teams.
Report testing status to the Software Engineering Manager and liaise with product owners and business stakeholders.
Ensure software engineers adhere to high standards in building, testing, and implementing solutions, following Bank's Scrum practices.
Analyze and test detailed requirements in collaboration with IT and business teams.
Manage incidents effectively with clear and concise tickets/bug reports.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Experience in automation testing using tools such as Cucumber frameworks, Rest Assured, Postman, JMeter, IntelliJ, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, and Xray.
Strong expertise in test automation tools, framework implementation, industry best practices, and coding standards.
Demonstrable experience in test automation.
Ability to test complex business and technical use cases, including API testing and microservice-based architecture.
Performance testing experience using JMeter.
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in the Banking & Finance domain.
Experience testing applications in cloud environments.
Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Framework.
Knowledge of Java, Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes, DevOps, and SoapUI.
