We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Specialist with a focus on migrations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with GCP and at least 1 year of experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role requires a strong background in IT/Software Development and proven experience in cloud migration or infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute cloud migration projects from various platforms to GCP
Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure on GCP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes
Communicate effectively with clients from Canadian, American, or UK markets, providing updates on development stages and presenting deliverables
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
Ensure high availability and reliability of migrated systems
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and migrations
Requirements
5+ years of experience with GCP
At least 1 year of experience with other cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure
Minimum of 8 years of provable IT/Software Development experience
Proven experience in cloud migration or infrastructure development
Fluent English (C1 and above)
Experience working directly with clients from Canadian, American, or UK markets
Proven ability to communicate effectively during development stages, present deliverables, and conduct proper technical documentation
3+ years of experience working in a fully remote setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, or both
3+ years of experience leading development teams
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
