As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of safeguarding digital assets and protecting our clients’ data


Purpose of the Role

To be responsible for both BAU (business as usual) and projects across infrastructure ensuing they are available, secure, and built following our architecture principles and designs – you will:


  • Work as part of a Infrastructure Team reporting to the Head of Infrastructure
  • ​Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents
  • ​Take ownership of systems and Improvements to ensure they are fully optimised.
  • ​Carry out Support and maintenance of server infrastructure.
  • ​Continuous Improvement - Proactively identify and resolve potential problems in an effort to prevent them from occurring and improve the overall customer experience​.
  • ​Overseeing and managing the infrastructure support queue, ensuring all tickets are resolved/fulfilled within SLA and customer satisfaction targets and other KPIs are achieved.
  • ​Work closely with various vendors, driving the resolution of incidents and fulfilment of requests, participating in regular service reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all incident, requests for service etc are managed in a timely and appropriate manner following relevant processes.
  • To manage workloads through service management toolset
  • To gather logs, configuration details and attempt to reproduce the reported issues.
  • To recommend solutions to customers and follow through to resolution or escalate in a timely manner if no resolution can be found.

  • To carry out audits where required
  • To create, implement and document disaster recovery requirements and assist with testing where requested.
  • To ensure change management processes are adhered to.


Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications:


The successful candidate will be a a vital part of our Transformation as we continue to build out our cloud infrastructure further to support Transformation across the business.


Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate the following

Skills and Experience

  • 4-5 years proven experience in building cloud solutions in a infrastructure capacity
  • Knowledge of the process for moving on prem to cloud
  • Examples of soley building infrstructure solutions and be able to talk through how you did this
  • Must have proven experience or certificate in Azure Essentials and Microsoft Azure Stack


Specific technical skills required are

  • Windows servers server management experience
  • Windows 2008R2 up to 2022 Cluster management experience
  • Knowledge of operational and application security M365 (Microsoft 365)
  • Exchange 2016 On Prem
  • Active Directory
  • Mimecast
  • PowerShell
  • VMWare
  • Backup technologies


Qualifications

  • Certification in Azure Infrastructure
  • ITIL V3+ Foundation certification
  • BSc in relevant subjects such as: Computer science, Computer systems/networks, Software engineering systems, Mathematics
