Project Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Azure, PySpark, Python, ADF (Azure Data Factory), SQL, and GitHub. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, develop, and maintain data solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and optimize robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and Python.
Data Integration: Integrate large-scale data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Data Storage Management: Utilize Azure Storage services for data storage, management, and processing.
SQL Development: Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Code Management: Use GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code deployment.
Performance Tuning: Optimize data processes for performance and scalability.
Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to meet data requirements.
Mandatory Skills Description:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure technologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in PySpark and Python for data processing and analytics.
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data workflows.
Expertise in SQL for data manipulation and ETL processes.
Familiarity with Azure Storage solutions (Blob Storage, Data Lake Storage).
Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
