About the Role:
Optimyze Consulting GmbH is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Lisbon. The primary focus of this role is to drive client acquisition and expand our presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a particular emphasis on the IT recruitment sector and can be relocated from anywhere in Europe incl. UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within the DACH region, including startups, scale-ups, SMEs, and IT consultancies. Develop and execute strategic plans to secure new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Ensure a deep understanding of client needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the IT recruitment industry. Use insights to inform business development strategies.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics as necessary.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and terms of business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure alignment between client needs and recruitment processes. Provide feedback and insights to improve service delivery.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Experience: Solid experience in business development or sales, preferably within the IT recruitment sector.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Motivation: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
