Senior Django Developer (Cybersecurity - VPN Application) in TüRKIYE

Location: Remote (Headquartered in Estonia, future expansion to Canada)

Compensation: 35% of the startup's profit shared with the development and design team

We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Django Developer to join our team and drive our vision forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the backend development of our VPN application using Django.
• Ensure adherence to backend development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with our cybersecurity team to integrate advanced security features.
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments.
• Mentor junior developers and improve development processes continuously.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 5+ years as a Django developer. Candidates with less experience need not apply.

Industry Expertise: Must have experience in the cybersecurity industry.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Django, including ORM, views, forms, templates, and the Django REST framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Proven experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining VPN applications.
• Deep understanding of networking, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
• Knowledge of backend development standards and best practices.
• Experience with API development and integration, including RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Protocols:

• Expertise in security protocols such as IPsec, OpenVPN, SSL/TLS, and WireGuard.
• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS) and their interaction with VPN services.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (B1 or B2 level).
• Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
