Level1 Tech Support - Relocation to Malta in UNITED KINGDOM

Recruiter4You has been tasked by a startup within a reputable group to find a Chinese-speaking Level1 Tech Application Support willing to relocate to Sunny Malta (beautiful island in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea) and join the team at their new office.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support for large installations, including servers and applications, and other assigned software. This is a great opportunity to accelerate your career by working with cutting-edge products and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 level 1 application support
• Assist in maintaining high-availability systems
• Identify and document user and system issues
• Take ownership of all issues and see them through to resolution
• Maintain a knowledge base of known defects and issues
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate with clients and management
• Conduct application testing and assist clients with testing
• Create and update documentation and reports as needed
• Train users on applications and help resolve issues
• Collaborate with business users and build strong relationships
• Handle escalations and manage client expectations

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Fluent in English and Chinese for business communication
• Experience with programming languages (HTML, JAVA) is a plus
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team and with end users
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
