Senior Data Analyst - SQL/Python/Fintech in UNITED KINGDOM

The role: Data Analyst (Python/SQL/FinTech)

Business: Global Media Tech

Contract: 6 months - with a strong possibility of extension (to start ASAP - max 4 weeks’ notice)

Salary: £105k basic (PAYE, paid weekly, within IR35)

Location: This is a fully remote role for candidates based within the London / South East UK regions

You must be fully clear to work in the UK without the need of relocation/visa sponsorship

A leading Partner Solutions team in Central London is looking to hire an experienced Data Analyst! This role is to drive business value by supporting the EMEA / Global Partnerships team with data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualisation and to collaborate on product analytics, market analysis, and operational efficiency projects.

The day to day:

• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

About you:

• You’ll have a strong background within Data Analysis, at least 8+ years in a similar role
• You’ll possess strong SQL and strong Python skills
• You’ll have the proven ability to work independently and manage your time
• You’ll have in-depth knowledge of database management software.
• Ideally, you’ll have a background in Finance / FinTech
