Lead Producer in ICELAND

CCP Games is looking for a Lead Producer on Project Awakening, a new project set in the EVE Universe!

As a Lead Producer, you will be responsible for aligning production across the project’s 3 main disciplines: Gameplay, Creative & Blockchain – working with the team and stakeholders in taking the game from its production phase to live phase: You will be accountable for creating and executing upon a realistic delivery plan that aligns with the teams bandwidth and product needs by working with the team and its stakeholders.

The role is in Reykjavík, Iceland with CCP offering full relocation support.

Your tasks:

• Production Scheduling: Work with the Producers on the team in developing and maintaining a project schedule, ensuring milestones are clearly defined and met.
• Risk Management: Regularly review and identify potential risks to the project’s timeline, quality, or budget and develop mitigation strategies with the team.
• Embracing service-leadership: Know when to guide and when to step back and empower team members to take the lead - fostering an environment where leadership is exercised with respect for team autonomy.
• Cross-Disciplinary Insight: Maintain a good overview of the project by having a surface-level understanding of each discipline's challenges and contributions. This covers creative work, blockchain development, infrastructure technology, and gameplay experience.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as one of the primary points of contact between the development team and its stakeholders – ensuring transparent communication of project status, milestones, and updates.
• Production Coaching: Coach, develop and manage the Production team’s professional growth as well as own the processes and workflows that allow them to succeed in delivering the game.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in production in gaming, either in live service games, shipping games or games that have not been released – with at least 3 years of leadership responsibilities.
• Keen interest in Blockchain and technology in general.
• Avid gamer with deep knowledge of the gaming industry.
• Demonstrated skill in leadership and navigating social landscapes with empathy and insight - as well as being motivated by teamwork and collaboration.
