We are looking to hire a self-motivated HR Operations Specialist to support one of our clients.
The role is based in our Shared Service Center in Bucharest and it’s a fully remote type of work - Mid-level (the applicants should be based in Romania)
Key Responsibilities:
HR administrative support
- Supporting the delivery of operational HR function
- Coordinating the recruitment process
- You will be working closely with the head of People to develop, deliver, and maintain company policies and guidelines in line with current Employment Law regulations
- Supporting HR on a wide variety of people-related topics and projects
- Responsible for keeping the HR system up to date
- Providing general HR administrative support as required
- Contributing to the development and implementation of policies
- Being a trusted and professional ambassador for the HR and Leadership team
- An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and flexible in approach
- Knowledge of basic employment law and HR / Payroll practices would be advantageous
Payroll & Personnel Admin
- Preparation of monthly payroll and benefits administration for the UK and US for submission to the external payroll providers
- Administering 401(K) and ensuring meeting all of the required compliance obligations in the USA
- Responsible for general HR Administration, including starters/leavers, issuing contracts, addenda and other documents related to the employee’s life cycle
- Administering the process in the permanent monthly payroll, ensuring deadlines are met
- Administer all aspects of employee benefits, including private medical, life insurance, and non-taxable benefits such as childcare vouchers, pension and cycle-to-work
- To be responsible for Pension administration and new starter pack
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluency in English
- Have worked in People, HR or People Ops teams before
- Some generalist people experience, e.g., payroll, employment law, recruitment
- Some experience working in a role that requires strong emotional intelligence, relationship building and expectation-management skills
- Be a great organizer and can give examples of simplifying and/or automating a process
- Be comfortable working with data and taking an evidence-based approach
- Engaging, enthusiastic and proactive communication skills
- European and US experience (desirable)
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Experience using HR systems
