As a Head of Sales, you will spearhead the global expansion of Preply Business. This role is pivotal, as you will collaborate with executive leaders to shape the future of our business and drive strategic initiatives. You will lead a stellar team of Key Account Executives, guiding them from the vision-setting stage to the implementation of a highly effective operational model. Your leadership will be instrumental in defining goals, optimizing processes, and achieving exceptional results, making a lasting impact on Preply and our customers. What You’ll Be Doing

  • With a deep understanding of our business goals, you will drive the sales organization by defining business priorities, setting ambitious goals and designing a rigorous operation model to increase the impact of the team. You will play a key role in setting our global sales strategy and leading the team into execution.
  • Elevate the craft of the Sales team. You will develop and scale frameworks to manage sales pipelines and deals, supporting the team to identify best practices to scale their results. You will work closely with your direct reports and peers to remove possible blockers or process inefficiency that could affect the team result.
  • You will constantly raise the bar of the team, by hiring, onboarding, engaging and developing top talents, fostering a strong collaborative and result-driven culture.
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and drive solutions hands-on. Foster a ‘challenge, disagree and commit’ environment where consensus may not always rule, but where individuals know they are heard.
  • Serve as an example to others at every level. Be a key contributor to a still-evolving culture. Demonstrate inspirational leadership that helps to raise the company’s standards, not just for product excellence but overall.

What You Need To Succeed

  • A founder mentality; you’re a builder excited to solve complex problems, not just execute
  • Solid experience building and leading high-performing teams as a Head of Sales or in a similar role within the tech industry, across multiple locations, while maintaining high levels of engagement and quality of talent.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and driving a high-achieving sales organization within a fast-growing business.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and business growth, evidenced by increased direct reports, larger deal sizes, and successful market or product launches.
  • Collaborative leadership style with exceptional and engaging communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset, consistently seeking and implementing improvements in sales processes and strategies to drive business growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and project management expertise.
  • Preferable experience with B2B/SaaS tech products, particularly working with mid-market clients across multiple locations.
