Principal Embedded Software Engineer - Defense
I’m currently partnered with a US based Defense Contractor and Manufacturing Business that is rapidly growing. They are a leading technology innovator and supplier of integrated products, services and support to military forces and intelligence agencies around the world, working hard to develop solutions to keep US and Allied citizens safe.
The business is currently looking to hire a Principal Embedded Software Engineer that will be responsible for technical and analytical leadership in developing, designing, and/or supporting software solutions across multiple U.S. defense industries. This will include planning, writing code-based architecture and technical design, testing, and improving the processes this firm employs to make and test software. Some products you will be working on include ground radar systems, aviation ground support equipment, fuel and water systems, armor and mobility, automatic test equipment, and chemical and biological protective shelters.

Location: Bridgeton, MO – relocation assistance provided (Every other Friday off)
Comp Range: $145k base + bonus + benefits
Role: Principal Embedded Software Engineer
Experience:
- Strong Development experience in one of the following: C, C++, C# and/or Java
- Experience using your knowledge of software engineering principles and core concepts (e.g., data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, and databases) to create software solutions that meet project-based needs
- Linux/Unix experience
