Job Summary:
As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and managing our globally distributed public cloud infrastructure, focusing on network deployment, orchestration, and proactive troubleshooting. You will collaborate closely with project managers, internal and external teams to ensure successful and timely outcomes, and perform intricate problem diagnosis, along with network device upgrades and automations. This role requires a candidate with a solid networking foundation, an automation-focused mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive global public cloud infrastructure projects, focusing on networking aspects.
- Actively participate in cloud network team activities, including deployments, changes, and troubleshooting.
- Partner with project and program managers to ensure the timely resolution of issues and successful project outcomes.
- Perform detailed network problem diagnosis and manage incidents within given SLAs.
- Use automation tools, including Ansible and Python, for network deployments and troubleshooting.

- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Python).
- Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies (BGP, OSPF, IPSEC).
- Solid knowledge and familiarity with Juniper's Junos, Cisco IOS, Cumulus (Linux) and Rest API considered a plus.
- Linux/Unix basic system administration and troubleshooting knowledge are plus.
- The candidate should have a solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security and load balancing.
