Plansom is building a category-defining execution platform for modern organisations.

As companies scale, planning breaks down, ownership blurs and execution slows. Existing tools optimise fragments of work documents, tasks and communication but none are designed to run execution at scale.

We are building the execution backbone for teams: a system that connects planning, accountability and delivery across people, processes and time.

Our software is designed to help teams deliver results consistently, with AI embedded directly into how work is structured, tracked and improved.

Plansom was featured on the Microsoft Blog for building the Plansom Agent for Microsoft Teams, powered by Microsoft Foundry SDKs and Azure OpenAI. We are part of the Microsoft startup programme and work closely with Microsoft as we continue to build and scale.

We are early, but deliberate live product, real users, weekly releases and a clear path to scale.

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who has owned a product in production.

This is not a ticket-execution role.

This is not backend-only.

You will own features end-to-end:

• Understanding the problem
• Technical design
• Backend + frontend implementation
• Production release
• Iteration based on real usage

You must be comfortable thinking about product experience, not just writing code.

• Full-stack features from concept → release → iteration
• Backend services (Python and/or Java)
• Frontend components (React or similar modern framework)
• APIs, integrations and data flows
• Reliability, performance and usability of what you build

Ownership means:

• You understand how users interact with your features
• You take responsibility for outcomes
• You communicate clearly and proactively
• You are transparent about challenges and trade-offs

You must have personally owned a live product or major feature area that:

• Was in production
• Had real users
• You improved post-launch
• You were accountable beyond initial delivery

Ownership also means being clear about what you built vs what your team built.

If your experience has been limited to implementing assigned tickets within a large team structure, this role is not a fit.

• 6–10 years engineering experience
• Strong backend experience (Python and/or Java)
• Strong frontend experience (React or similar)
• Experience in SaaS environments
• Experience working in remote/distributed teams
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Comfortable working across time zones (Europe/India overlap required)
