Duration: 12-Month Contract

- 5+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp

CUI Requirements
The candidate must:
- Use only workspaces designated for this project as specified in the approved Technology Control Plan (TCP) or granted by the Office of Export Control and Research Security (ECRS).
- Use Granite Secure VDI to view, store, process, or transmit regulated research data (CUI, Export Control, etc.) from onsite University work locations or approved remote work sites (CMMC v2: PE.L2-3.10.6).
- Ensure computer screens are not facing windows or open doors where unauthorized individuals may view them.
- Lock their computer when away from it.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities
The candidate must meet all CUI requirements.
The Mid–Senior Level Citrix VDI Architect will:
- Provide Level-2 and Level-3 technical support for Citrix/XenApps server environment
- Analyze and evaluate complex system project requirements
- Review user requirements and identify problems and potential resolutions
- Provide analytical support for development and implementation of multiple inter-linked systems
- Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications
Core Responsibilities
- Provide Level-2 and Level-3 support for Citrix/XenApps server environment
- Monitor VDI platform using client tools (NetScaler, ControlUP)
- Support:
- VDI End-User Sessions
- VDI Stack
- Level-2 management and technical support
- Ensure virtual sessions function properly
- Handle IT-VDI related requests from client helpdesk
- Ensure Citrix platform servers are updated with latest software patches
- Support XenDesktop Broker, VDI monitoring, and alerting for Citrix/VMware applications
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Address technical questions related to VDI and Citrix
- Participate in client meetings and team updates
- Serve as technical Subject Matter Expert
- Deploy and support core Microsoft services:
- Active Directory (AD)
- ADFS
- DNS
- DHCP
- WSUS
- Group Policy
