API Architect for Institutional Onboarding and Integration Platform

We operate in a remote‑first model with distributed teams across multiple geographies.

Role description

You will own the API architecture and standards for a multi‑tenant institutional onboarding and integration platform. You will design contract‑first APIs, define guidelines for versioning, naming and error models, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable and observable services. You will drive API hardening, oversee authentication and authorisation patterns, and establish best practices for documentation and developer experience. You will also act as the main point of contact for integration topics with product and engineering stakeholders. The role is full‑time, remote in India, with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in API‑focused roles (API Architect, Senior Backend Engineer or similar).
• Deep expertise in RESTful API design, API gateways, security (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), and microservices.
