Information Technology Support Engineer in NEW ZEALAND

We are looking for a friendly and energetic ICT Support Engineer to partner with our clients on their day-to-day IT related activities. Our diverse IT Support Team is spread across multiple countries and many of our team members work remotely. 


This is a fully remote role but will require regular on site client visits to assess their technical requirements and to provide hands-on support.  


We only work with Not for Profit organisations so your skills will go towards enabling people that are making a difference in this world.


This role entails:

  • Taking ownership of technical cases and working with our clients from start to finish.
  • Responding promptly to inquiries by providing technical assistance and support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Azure services. This includes setup and configuration of Entra ID, Virtual Servers, App services, technical support, and permissions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer and telephony related issues when contacted by clients by providing both on-site and remote support. This support may include desktops, laptops, mobile phone, printers, scanners or any other ICT related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Website related cases. This includes technical issues, content loading and DNS related changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft SharePoint. This includes setup and configuration of Team Sites, Document Libraries, technical support, permissions and layout changes.
  • Assist users with any software related queries used on their ICT equipment.
  • Setup and Configure new users, accounts and equipment for the XP internal and external clients.
  • Perform moves, adds and changes to existing XP internal and external clients.
  • Perform regular proactive updates, maintenance and security checks on XP’s internal and external client’s ICT equipment.
  • Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Maintain XP’s knowledge base and client specific records.


Qualifications:

  • Information Technology degree or equivalent qualification
  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) - desirable
  • MS365 Fundamentals (MS-900) - desirable
  • Azure Admin Associate (AZ-104) - desirable
  • MS365 Admin Expert (MS-102) - desirable


Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience providing technical support to clients
  • Advanced working knowledge Microsoft Technologies, including Azure
  • Having Microsoft Dynamics CRM or solution implementation experience, even better!
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office and other frequently used User Software
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to technical and non-technical people
  • Critical thinking capability to identify, resolve and prevent technical challenges
  • Outstanding time management and prioritisation of tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small, global business environment
  • NZ Driver's licence


Fixed Remuneration:

  • $65,000 - $70,000 per annum
  • 3% KiwiSaver Employer Contribution


Hours:

  • 40 Hours per week
  • Monday to Friday (standard business hours)
  • No overtime requirement
