DevOps Engineer (Freelance, 100% Remote, Full Time)

Role Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at Lykke, you will be a critical part of our team, responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a forward-thinking financial technology company.

You will work closely with development teams to ensure the seamless integration and delivery of our applications and services. Your expertise in cloud environments, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines will help us maintain high performance, reliability, and security standards.

Tasks

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure efficient, repeatable, and scalable infrastructure deployments.
• Troubleshoot, set up, and maintain cloud environments, with a focus on optimizing performance, reliability, and security.
• Maintain and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Monitor system performance and provide proactive solutions to potential issues.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems and networks.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and optimizing common AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles and security best practices. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Previous experience in a similar DevOps role in a fast-paced environment.
