Software Developer/Go Developer - Remote (Europe)

Type: Full-time (Remote in EU)

Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 + Shares

My client is actively hiring for a passionate Software Developer/Go Developer eager to grow and innovate in the DeFi space.

They are a start-up size business with a great opportunity for an Engineer to work on a fully remote basis (UK hrs +/- 2hrs) operating on a multi-chain protocol revolutionising traditional crypto prime brokerage functions for hedge funds, financial institutions, and professional traders.

What You'll Do:

• Develop Golang microservices
• Collaborate on requirements and system integration
• Enhance security, performance, and existing code
• Work in an Agile team using tools like Confluence and Jira

What You Need:

• 3-5 years in Software Engineering/Golang or 1 year Golang + 2-4 years in another language (Rust, C or C++)
• Strong grasp of functional and object-oriented programming
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and web services
• Good debugging skills and understanding of CI/CD
• Proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Passion/curiosity for software engineering and coding personal development
• Professional level English - speaking & writing

Nice to Have:

• Basic Software Engineering Security Principles
• Basics of cryptography and replication algorithms
• Experience with blockchain technologies like Ethereum, Polkadot

Simple Interview Process:

1. Technical solution test-case (Usually takes 1 hr) + Review IV with VP of Engr.
