What are we looking for?
Skills Required
Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices (e.g., NIST, OWASP Top 10)
Expertise in common security tools and technologies (firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security)
A basic knowledge and understanding of business and technical cybersecurity and risk management concepts and methods, including policy concepts, risk assessment procedures, and role-based authentication and authorization methodologies and technologies
Nice To Have
Experience in scripting/coding for automating tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell) would be beneficial
Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, etc.) a major plus
Some experience with security and risk-based standards such as ISO2700X, ISO31000, NIST800 and PCI-DSS and other relevant security risk standards and technologies is desirable
Experience working in a financial company/payment service provider company supporting global operations is a plus
What will you do?
Security Tooling
Administer and optimize a suite of security tools, including EDR, email security, vulnerability scanning (endpoint, server and application), DLP (email), cloud security posture management (CSPM) and security information and event management (SIEM)
Alert Investigation & Incident Response
Lead investigation of security alerts
Follow incident response procedures to contain threats and restore systems
Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and implement corrective actions
Security Posture Uplift
Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures
Research emerging security trends, threat vectors, and vulnerabilities
Partner with development teams to integrate security by design principles
Collaboration and Reporting
Collaborate with teams to integrate security considerations in projects
Contribute to company-wide security awareness training
Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions
