Senior Go Software Engineer for End-to-End Testing

A Swoon client, a leader in cryptocurrency platforms, is seeking an experienced Go (Golang) Software Engineer with a strong focus on End-to-End (E2E) Testing to support the quality and reliability of public-facing services.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working closely with backend teams, building scalable testing frameworks, and ensuring production-ready releases in fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design, document, and implement exhaustive end-to-end tests for public-facing API endpoints
• Build and automate testing frameworks using Go (Golang)
• Partner closely with backend engineers to ramp up on existing services and improve test coverage
• Write high-quality, well-tested code aligned with production standards
• Support scalable, service-oriented architectures with a focus on performance and reliability
• Identify testing gaps and proactively reduce deployment risk

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Strong proficiency in Go / Golang (core requirement)
• Proven experience with E2E or integration testing for APIs or backend services
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical decisions and tradeoffs
• Ability to quickly ramp up on new systems and collaborate cross-functionally

Role Details

• Location: Fully Remote
• Contract Length: 6 months (potential extension)
• Compensation: $90/hour
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
