Why this job matters

The role holder leads key sales and account management and is responsible for selling to and managing BT Global’s International key global accounts headquarter in NY, USA. These customers are key development accounts with high potential for managed platform services


The role holder is responsible for delivering new sales growth and whitespace attack by driving value activities, client relationship and pipeline growth.


This role will also be responsible for driving industry propositions and developing the partner ecosystem for Global Financial Services.


It is part of the most professional, inclusive and innovative team that is delivering growth in all areas of Global Financial Services.


What I'll be doing - your accountabilities

  • Plan and execute to deliver strong sales growth with a USA and NY HQ international bank.
  • Work with a team of Account Managers across regions to deliver sales growth plans and sales targets and objectives.
  • Sales activity to be across new regions, globally and the full range of BT global portfolio.
  • Ensure individual keeps sales records current and accurate in Salesforce.
  • Ensure BT has senior relationships at exec level in our largest opportunities
  • Collaborate with the entire organization to deliver winning and profitable sales.
  • Accountable for the customer relationships measured through NPS
  • To challenge the status quo and break new ground in the pursuit of commercial advantage
  • Building the BT brand in the market and developing Banking Industries
  • To contribute to the leadership and management of the business.


Skills required for the job

  • New business sales professional
  • Industry vertical experience (Banking and Financial services) and knowledge is an advantage
  • Customer relationship management at all levels, especially C suite.
  • Global business experience running dispersed teams.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Ability to articulate technical and complex business issues and work with senior level customers and BT executives
  • Excellent influencing and commercial skills
  • Ability to Collaborate and work in a highly matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of Marketing an advantage.

Base salary range of $115k - $135k, dependent on experience and location, with an OTE of $189,750 - $222,750 at 100% target. This opportunity participates in the BT sales pay plan at 65% on target bonus.
