Snag is building white-label infrastructure for NFT creators, starting with our marketplace and loyalty / ‘points’ products that let creators spin up custom onboarding channels and engagements platforms in a matter of minutes.

We believe that software shouldn’t limit creativity, or limit non-technical creators from building world-class digital experiences. With the rapid growth of NFT’s and ERC-20’s a ecosystem currencies creators are searching for better tools. Snag builds the easiest to implement marketplace and loyalty experiences and improves upon existing Web3 user experiences by building directly for the creator. Current partners include Pudgy Penguins, Yuga (PROOF), Rolling Loud, Wilder World, Rug Radio, and 100+ amazing brands.

At Snag you’ll be our first full-time employee, first-engineer, and have an opportunity to drive outsized impact. You are:

• Joining a remote-friendly team to build and support our product.
• Comfortable working across the stack, from frontend to backend.
• Building customer-informed features. We iterate closely with our users and encourage all members of the team to sit in on to customer conversations.
• A key decision-maker in our engineering architecture. We currently have a Next.js application deployed on Vercel, but we’re open to what works best for us as our product grows.

You’ll be working on a product with strong customer validation and early signs of PMF. Because of the nature of early-stage startups we do expect someone who:

• Works well with ambiguity
• Has a strong ownership mindset
• Is a strong communicator and works well in small teams

• Senior Full-stack Software Engineer
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack web products
• Strong interest in Web3 & blockchain technology.
• Location: Fully Remote, ability to work 6+ hours with PST time zone overlap.
• Compensation & Benefits: TBD, market or above for a Seed stage start up

Co-founders Zach (Ops) and Jason (Tech) met at DoorDash, building for the merchant, and launching products like the ads platform & POS integrations to scale operations nationally. Zach was then a Director & GM helping merchants like McDonalds and Panera offer delivery through their own app and website to improve margins and own the experience. When looking for ways to avoid OpenSea fees Zach saw the opportunity to provide the same tooling to NFT creators. Zach called Jason and Snag was born.

Zach was an early leader at DoorDash building the sales strategy org and as a Director & GM enabling first party ordering. Zach fell deep down the crypto rabbit hole last year, starting with DeFi before recognizing the long term applications of NFTs and seeing the need for project tooling.

Jason was an early engineering leader at Snap, DoorDash, and Modern Treasury. He loves building software to empower creators and developers. By generalizing some of the hardest-to-build pieces of NFT products he hopes to be a small part in bringing the digital economy to everyone.

Overtime, we’ll help creators provide value to their communities by building social tooling and other project services that drive value for holders.
