Backend Software Engineer

ERA RF Technologies is a technology-driven R&D and manufacturing company specializing in advanced RF communication systems for UAVs, satellite platforms, and mission-critical defense and commercial applications.

As part of our internal digital transformation, we are developing in-house ERP systems, operational dashboards, and engineering software tools tightly integrated with our production, test, and configuration management workflows. We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who will take technical ownership of backend architecture and service development within these systems.

This role is ideal for engineers who value clean architecture, long-term maintainability, and building core systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Participating in the end-to-end architectural design and implementation of ERA’s internal ERP system
• Taking primary technical ownership of backend architecture, service layers, and business logic
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration layers that support operational workflows
• Architecting backend components for real-time data streaming, logging, monitoring, and control mechanisms
• Implementing backend support for authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
• Making minor integration-level adjustments in existing frontend modules when required
• Contributing to technical documentation, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes
• Ensuring clean code practices, scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
• Actively participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, and system improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional backend software development experience
• Strong experience within the Node.js ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with NestJS, including modules, dependency injection, guards, pipes, and validation
• Solid knowledge of SQL-based databases, data modeling, query optimization, and transaction handling
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication/authorization flows, and system integrations
• Experience with real-time communication technologies (WebSocket, SSE, or similar)
• Familiarity with on-premise server architectures and data synchronization strategies
• Active, professional experience with Git and version-controlled workflows
• Ability to model business rules correctly at the service layer, ensuring data consistency and integrity
• Experience in log analysis, error diagnostics, and performance troubleshooting in live systems
• Good understanding of layered architecture and modular software design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with ERP systems, production tracking, inventory management, or admin panel applications
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) and caching mechanisms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Experience with API security and fine-grained role-based authorization
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based development environments
• Familiarity with Linux server environments and basic deployment operations
• Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and teamwork
• Ability to work systematically in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
