Solidity Engineer (w/ Quant experience) in SINGAPORE

My client, a new DeFi protocol, is looking for an experienced smart contract developer to join their fast paced, dynamic team! They have recently received funding from Coinbase ventures, and are looking to expand their team in order to achieve their ambitious goals. Description:

As a Protocol Engineer, you will assist our team in creating open, transparent, and seamless protocols. You will have the chance to design, build, test, and launch various products. Additionally, you will support the team in facilitating the collection, storage, and analysis of on-chain data.

Responsibilities:

• Improve the protocol by designing and implementing smart contracts.
• Explore, develop, and innovate new smart contract paradigms.
• Design and implement additional mechanisms for the protocol.
• Create and develop scalable data pipelines to automate the ingestion, processing, and transformation of data from diverse sources.
• Work across all facets of data, from engineering to developing advanced visualizations, machine learning models, and experiments. Perform independent, data-driven research.

Core Skills:

• Over 2 years of experience in developing and deploying production-grade Solidity contracts.
• Extensive knowledge of the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
• Proven experience in deploying complex smart contract systems on the Ethereum mainnet.
• Thorough understanding of standard algorithms, data structures, and their computational and memory efficiency.
• Basic familiarity with common DeFi primitives and their trade-offs.
