We are seeking an experienced Front End WordPress Developer to join a project team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing complex custom themes based on Figma designs and specifications. You will work closely with designers and content creators to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on specification and design requirements
Perform website updates, maintenance and troubleshooting
Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure the successful deliverability of a project.
Optimize website performance and user experience
Keep up to date with the latest WordPress updates, trends and best practices
Conduct quality assurance testing and ensure websites are cross-browser and cross-device compatible
Provide timely and efficient technical support to clients
What We Offer:
Salary: R30 000 – R45 000 per month depending on experience
40 days leave per year

Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
Strong working knowledge of Bootstrap Frontend Framework, SASS, Git, jQuery and Advanced Custom Fields
Experience with website optimization and SEO techniques
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with different departments
