The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will coordinate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next-generation software and applications. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take the lead on innovations and projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Developer. The Developer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to back-end web development and software development. They will utilize object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and database management to create and maintain efficient and scalable applications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming language and experience with object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with object-oriented programming
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools (e.g., Visual Studio)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Python and C++ development
- Experience with other programming languages and technologies (e.g., Golang, Python, Java, and Qt) is a plus
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with other JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular or Vue) and Golang.
- Experience with back-end development (such as Express.js or Ruby on Rails)
Additional qualifications and certifications in Ionic and React are a plus. We also value candidates with experience in software testing, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or Rust.
