System Administrator in CANADA

Day to day responsibilities:

• Maintain an infrastructure comprised of multiple AWS accounts, products and technologies
• Work closely in collaboration with the team to provide technical support and solutions for clients
• Set up Docker on various projects
• Help our developers and clients set up their local environments and with any database issues
• Set up different accounts for new developers (Gsuits, Jira, Git, etc…) and removing access
• Manage client DNS
• Ownership of projects
• Meeting with clients as needed

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Senior or intermediate Sysadmin (2-5 years experience)
• Must have at least 2 years professional working experience with AWS
• ECS/EC2/S3/RDS knowledge is important to have for this role
• Comfortable using Linux and Apache / Nginx
• Docker experience is a strong asset
• Ability to understand PHP Laravel and Node.js or similar frameworks is a plus
• API Gateway/ Lambda / Elastic Cache knowledge is a plus
• Experience with Git Hub/Lab is nice to have
• Excellent communication skills in English and is comfortable speaking with clients
• Basic knowledge as well as interest of DevOps is an asset
• Ability to work well remotely in a team environment is a must
• Must be located in Canada
