Role and Responsibilities:
Key Description:
- Analyze impact of software changes on other functional units
- Define, implement and record best practices for SAN NAS backup administrators (action statements)
- Conceptual skills especially to understand customer needs and based on that develop business and technical concepts like architectures plan and implement them configuratively in the technology
- Optimization monitoring and automation (scripting WSH
- Power Shell / Perl / Python) - Storage - support: change and patch planning in shared and multi-client environments
- Extensive knowledge of Windows (NTFS and DFS), UNIX and LINUX
- Netapp operating systems, storage environments, network protocols and file systems NetApp NAS Storage, NetApp Ontap, Cluster, and Metrocluster.IP as well as Fiberchannel in the backend.
- Windows Fileservices, Active Directory
- Ticket and incidental management
Requirements/Qualifications and Skills:
Essential Skills:
- German Language skills are mandatory
- SAN, NAS Specialization
- In-depth knowledge of Free BSD Linux, Unix, Windows
- In-depth knowledge of network protocol TCP/IP V4/V6
- In-depth knowledge of file system protocols NFS V3,V4 and 4.1 as well as CIFS/SMB V1,2 and 3
- At least five years of professional experience as storage administrator (SAN NAS DASI)
