Job Description

Web Designer for Travel Website Redesign

What you'll be working on

  • Redesigning the layout, navigation, and structure of an existing travel website focused on bachelor parties in Colombia
  • Updating graphics, images, and visual style of the website to be more modern and visually appealing
  • Improving the user experience and ease of navigation throughout the site

Responsibilities

  • Conducting user research and usability testing to understand how customers currently use the site and identify areas for improvement
  • Creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes to showcase new design concepts
  • Implementing the new design vision across all pages of the website
  • Working collaboratively with other teams like development and content to rollout the new design

Requirements

  • Degree in graphic or web design, user experience design, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience designing and redesigning websites
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design and front-end development skills
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing a plus
  • Knowledge of current web design trends and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
