Flutter Mobile Developer in UNITED KINGDOM

Healthera is seeking a talented Senior Mobile Developer to join our growing team.

As an Flutter / Mobile Developer you will be working alongside a great team of developers within an Agile environment focused on delivering a suite of high-quality Web and mobile products to continually evolve a highly successful and established product range. You will be responsible for delivering performant and visually appealing new features, working closely with other members of the Development team - engineers, Product, and QA - to ensure successful product delivery.

We are looking to grow the product and business with the addition of an experienced mobile developer with 8+ years of experience.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement advanced features for our Flutter application
• Improve performance across both platforms and hone your own skills
• Help maintain code quality and maintainability, ensure clean, well-organized codebases that adhere to strong object-oriented principles organization
• Take ownership to ensure new features are developed with thought towards future scalability
• Collaborate effectively with backend engineers and other team members to build on a highly performant app
• Integrate with our in-house developed APIs using REST principles
• Adhere to in-house standard "Definition of Done" to support streamlined develop, QA, and release process
• Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code robustness, handle edge cases, and prioritize usability and reliability

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in Flutter mobile development
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with BLOC, Riverpod or Provider
• Knowledge of other mobile development platforms
• Familiar with the app submission process
• Expert-level proficiency in Dart, Kotlin, or similar
• Experience managing multiple targets and navigating the app submission process for Google Play Store.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical requirements
• Excellent communication and documentation skills using tools like Confluence and JIRA

Interview Process

• 1st round - an initial call to give you more context about Healthera and the role itself, and for us to learn more about your work history and experience. We will jump into technical discussions related to your CV.
• 2nd round - a technical round that focuses around system design and problem solving. We slightly adjust this process based on if the interview is on-site / remote. This will be paired with a take home exercise
• 3rd round - meeting the wider team, including our CEO and head of product.
