This is a critical, hands-on leadership role with direct impact on our center's success and growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

1. GCC Strategy & Setup:

  • Develop and execute the comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for establishing and scaling the India GCC/captive center.
  • Design and implement end-to-end recruitment processes, ATS setup, and employer branding strategy tailored for the GCC environment.
  • Build a high-performing, scalable TA team to support rapid growth across multiple functions (Technology, Analytics, Shared Services, etc.).
  • Provide strategic insights to global stakeholders on India talent market dynamics, compensation benchmarks, and hiring feasibility.

2. Business Partnership & Global Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary TA advisor and partner to global hiring managers and India center leadership.
  • Bridge global role requirements with local market talent availability, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Drive workforce planning for the center, forecasting talent needs for new capabilities and teams.

3. Full-Cycle Recruitment for Critical Roles:

  • Lead hiring for leadership, niche skill, and high-volume roles across the GCC's scope (e.g., Software Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, Finance, HR).
  • Ensure a rigorous, global-standard evaluation process that assesses for both technical excellence and cultural fit with the parent organization.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as a core component of the center's foundation.

4. GCC Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline:

  • Position our GCC as an employer of choice within the competitive India GCC/captive ecosystem.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies, tapping into talent pools from other GCCs, tech product companies, and consulting firms.
  • Build and nurture relationships with premier engineering schools, business schools, and specialized institutes for campus hiring.

5. Candidate Experience & Global Compliance:

  • Own and deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our global brand values.
  • Manage complex offer negotiations, ensuring alignment with both global compensation frameworks and local market competitiveness.
  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with Indian labor laws and global corporate governance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

  • 15+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 5+ years in a managerial/leadership role within a GCC/Captive Center or a large MNC setting in India.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling recruitment functions for a GCC, R&D center, or captive unit from early stages (50 to 500+ headcount).
  • Deep expertise in hiring for technology and knowledge-based roles (e.g., Engineering, Data, Cloud, Product, Digital).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and aligning expectations with global stakeholders (US, EMEA, APAC).
  • Strong command over GCC-specific talent pools, compensation benchmarks, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent data-driven storytelling skills to report on hiring progress and market insights to senior leadership.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in establishing Center of Excellence (COE) hiring (e.g., AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Cloud).
  • Campus recruitment strategy development for a GCC.
  • Familiarity with global mobility and relocation processes.
  • Relevant HR/TA certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI).
