We seek a Senior Software Engineer (all genders) with at least five years of experience to join our mission-critical connectivity team.
You will improve, maintain, and evolve our services that handle open banking data from various financial sources. Expertise with our stack and a passion for staying current with the latest technologies and trends are essential. Sharing your knowledge to inspire the team is also a big part of this role.
Collaboration is key—you'll support and, if needed, mentor your peers to boost team efficiency. We value openness to feedback and embracing change as a path to growth.

Your role and goals:
- You own essential parts of the codebase or projects and you are proactively sharing important information using different channels to avoid knowledge silos.
- You drive meaningful innovation, identifying areas of improvement and proving concepts and their benefits.
- You support other engineers using pairing sessions and, where necessary, tutoring.
- You assess potential risks, and you escalate to the management to make informed decisions.
- You support the Engineering Manager during the hiring process, participating in the technical interview process.
What you bring to the team:
- Expertise with Node.js and TypeScript; experience with NestJS is a plus.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong understanding of Software Engineering practices, patterns, and evaluating technologies to solve problems within company constraints.
- Good knowledge of security and infrastructure; experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and the ability to implement plans while distinguishing between tactical and strategic solutions.
