Javascript Developer in UNITED KINGDOM

Our client, a SaaS Company, are looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join their team. This is a fully remote position, but you must be based within the UK and visa sponsorship can't be provided at this time.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CTO in their pursuit of modernising and improving the existing tech stack. The ongoing transformation includes transitioning from Backbone JS to Vue.JS and Quasar, with concurrent migration of the API from Perl to NodeJS and relocation of the database into AWS RDS.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript coding.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and aptitude for code investigation.
• Capability to contribute significantly to project deliveries.
• Willingness to seek assistance when needed and provide support to team members.
• Strong SQL expertise (Postgres).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AWS serverless technologies.
• Familiarity with reading Perl code
• Proficiency in Cordova for iOS and Android app development.
• Experience with Vue.JS (or React).
