Training & Placement Opportunity for Junior Developers
(Python Data Developer)
Quintrix is on the lookout for developers who are open to upskill to the exciting world of Python Big Data. This opportunity is for our client Global Atlantic, a top tier insurance company (Affiliate of Goldman Sachs). Once you are selected for the opportunity, you will be put through 2 weeks (15 hrs./week) of pre-employment online training that will be conducted after business hours. Candidates selected for the Python Big Data opportunity will be paid a stipend of $500 on completion of 2 weeks of training.
An additional 2 weeks of training will be provided on the job as well after hire. Location Boston, MA and New York, NY
Prerequisite
• Working knowledge of Python & PySpark
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is a big plus
• Knowledge of Big Data tools like Pandas, NumPy, etc. is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Good written and oral communication skills
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Candidates should be willing to work out of Boston
Training and Interview Process
1. Technical interview by Quintrix
2. (Client) Interview
3. 2 weeks of Python Big Data pre-employment training
4. Additional 2 weeks of on-the-job training after hire
