Senior Agentic Systems Engineer

This is a senior hands-on engineering role for someone who likes building real systems, not just talking about them. You’ll sit at the intersection of strong software engineering, applied data science, and modern AI, with room to shape how agentic systems are delivered in practice.

What you’ll do

• Design and build scalable microservices and APIs that support AI-driven products and agentic systems
• Develop and implement agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain (or equivalent), taking ideas from prototype to production
• Contribute to system and architectural design decisions, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable, and secure
• Act as a senior technical contributor on client-facing AI initiatives, shaping solutions and representing AI capabilities locally

What you need

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with proven experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
• A solid data science background, with hands-on experience building data-driven or AI-powered applications
• Practical experience developing agentic systems, including real-world use of LangChain or similar frameworks
• Confidence working as a senior individual contributor, with the credibility to lead solutioning discussions and mentor others

The practical bits

• Salary: €130,000 base
• Location: Dublin
• Working model: Hybrid: three days per week in the office, two days working from home
