Craft and maintain a comprehensive design system for the product that aligns with the company's vision, style guidelines, and industry best practices, including a consistent set of design patterns, components, and visual language across platforms.
Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to facilitate common understanding among stakeholders and enable rapid iteration of design concepts.
Work closely with product owners, software engineers, and other UI/UX designers in an agile setup to bring ideas to life from concept through to launch, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Lead and conduct comprehensive user research and usability testing to gather insights into user needs and behaviors, translating these findings into actionable design improvements.
Engage in user research, competitive product analysis, and data analysis to inform design decisions and enhance user satisfaction.
Ensure that designs meet accessibility standards and are inclusive to a diverse user base.
What We Are Looking For:
A BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or other relevant disciplines, or a combination of education and 5 to 7 years of practical experience in UI/UX design.
A passion for understanding user needs and creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
Demonstrated experience in crafting user experiences and interfaces, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on various projects.
A solid grasp of user-centered design processes and methodologies, including iterative design and usability testing.
Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma,with familiarity with motion design and prototyping tools being a plus.
A good understanding of front-end languages (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and their impact on design feasibility and user experience.
Experience working with and presenting to senior stakeholders and clients, with the ability to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback effectively.
A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, open communication, and problem-solving in a team environment.
Comfort with the agile development process and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead design projects, mentor junior designers, and advocate for user experience best practices within the organization.
